Originally from Nigeria, Goodness earned a BS in Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University and a MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Ibadan. In Fall 2023, he was accepted into Professor Zhang’s lab to pursue his doctoral program. His research interest lies in the design and development of functionalized and multimodal fullerene-based nanomaterials for drug delivery and bioimaging applications for targeted cancer treatment. Aside from research, Goodness is an SDG 4 advocate who volunteers as a mentor, in various non-governmental organizations, due to his passion to inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM. In his free time, he enjoys catching up with friends, listening to music and educational podcasts.
