Rohin successfully defended his dissertation, “Synthesis of water-soluble fullerene derivatives: their applications in drug delivery, ROS scavenging, imaging and anti-inflammation” today! Congratulations, Dr, Biswas!
Rohin Biswas was the first member of our lab, and he has been instrumental in the establishment of our research portfolio. He has taken a long journey and overcome many difficulties through the challenges in starting a lab, the pandemic, and research obstacles. He is also the mentor of many lab members, many of whom are in medical schools or grad schools, including a few current graduate students in our lab.
Rohin will start a new role as a postdoc in the NIH to pursue his long-term passion in chemical biology. We wish you all the best, Dr. Biswas!
